Petalia

A c c e s o r i e s

Petalia is an accessories design project developed in collaboration with designer María Paula Santiesteban, inspired by the STEPIC 2024 trends and the dialogue between the human, the ecological, and the aesthetic. The collection reflects a sensitive and conscious approach, where each piece responds to essential needs —simplicity, protection, and positive impact— while embracing sustainability, traceability, and durability.
Rooted in the values of today’s consumers, Petalia resonates with two key groups: the Reductionists (70%), who seek simplicity, authenticity, and connection with local brands; and the Time Guardians (30%), who value quality, mindfulness, and well-being. Together, they represent a generation that desires meaningful design —objects that go beyond adornment to foster awareness, balance, and harmony with their surroundings.

Concept

Petalia is inspired by the fusion of two worlds: the delicate and exotic beauty of Colombian orchids, and the magical atmosphere of Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, captured through the lens of Impressionist aesthetics.

The orchids, with their elegant forms and vibrant colors, represent natural perfection and diversity, while Monet’s garden symbolizes artistic expression, shifting light, and the harmony between humanity and nature.

This collection is conceived as a wearable work of art, allowing its wearer to feel as if walking through a dreamlike garden, where each step and each accessory reflects the fusion between nature and art.

Fluid and harmonious forms evoke the graceful shapes of orchids, with soft silhouettes and organic details that mirror the lightness of petals. At the same time, the use of velvety textures recalls their tactile quality. The color palette combines the orchids’ vivid hues with the soft, watercolor tones of Monet’s garden, creating a balance between vibrancy and serenity.
